Group Exercise Class Descriptions

 

Each class at inFIT is suitable for all fitness levels but some classes are more intense than others. Please check the class description for an approximate intensity level and always let the instructor know if you are new (less than five classes attended) to the format. Various options and levels will be shown during class so that your workout is best for YOUR BODY. Our class formats offered include some of the following:

 

Come get your fight on! Throw your strength into weighted boxing bags, grab dumbbells for strength training intervals- the whole time your heart rate will be up and your lungs and muscles will be fighting to keep up. Hard. Fun. Whole body fitness in less than an hour.
All levels welcome. Intensity encouraged.

B3- BOSU, boxing and bodyweight. High intensity cardio switching off between BOSU ,boxing and bodyweight to keep it fun and make for a great, sweaty workout!

Barre incorporates a mixture of elements from Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training using a ballet barre with moves choreographed to motivating music. In each energizing and targeted workout, you’ll use the barre to sculpt, strengthen and stretch your entire body.

Join Kiz in this Barre class with power flows and a mindfulness boost. Fusing yoga to assist in achieving long lean muscles, with the intensity of a barre workout- you’ll break a sweat and keep moving throughout this 55 minute class.

This is a total body workout geared toward strengthening & toning the physique for a lean sculpted look.

This 55 minute kickboxing class uses standing bags to punch and kick your way through class.
Develop new skills and a strong core with easy-to-follow combinations of upper-body punches, lower-body kicks, blocks and athletic drills in this energy-packed workout.
This class welcomes all fitness levels and focuses on form and development of stamina.

Join Tara is this high powered workout combining Spin and Strength interval sets!
Boot Camp will challenge the cardio and strength of participants. This class will be held outdoors. If weather is inclement the class will be held inside.

This high-intensity interval class format will challenge beginners, so be sure to drink plenty of water and take breaks often!

This class gives you maximum calorie burn while toning muscles. There will be 3 minutes of cardio, 2 minutes of strength, and 1 minute of abs that is repeated for a tremendous workout.

Boot Camp YOGA is a total body workout combining traditional yoga sequencing with strength training designed to sculpt and tone every major muscle group in the body. This heated yoga class is set to energizing music and will push your strength to new heights. Strength training exercises such as squats, lunges, tricep and bicep curls and push-ups are incorporated throughout the practice to build lean muscle mass. This class will challenge individuals at all fitness levels. Don't forget water and a towel!
Boxing fusion incorporates kickboxing moves, cardio drills and strength training in an interval format sure to challenge every fitness level.
This class is a total body conditioning class that incorporates proper breathing, stretching between every exercise and a final relaxation at the end of class with a focus on the power house of the body...THE CORE!
 
This class is perfect for beginners and advanced fitness enthusiasts as you can set your pace and resistance!

This class alternates intervals of cardio with strength exercises for a full-body workout that will make y ou want to come back for more! Get your cardio and your strength in one nice package
Condition your heart and burn calories in this cardio training class focused on cardio drills. Rotate through stations of cardio using various equipment such as the BOSU, stability ball, step and your own body movements. Each cardio circuit class is different; you'll be sure to get a great cardio workout. All fitness levels welcome!
55 minutes of mixed formats including Strike, Kickboxing, Tabata, Cardio Drills, Step, BOSU, and abs. Designed to strengthen the cardiovascular system, tone muscles, and boost balance, flexibility, endurance and speed.
This class promises 30 minutes of heart pumping cardio, followed by 20 minutes of intense core work. A great way to burn some calories and strengthen your core all in one class!
Fun Fitness for all ages
Learn how to effectively strengthen your entire body with minimal equipment. This is a strength training class that will sculpt and tone all of your muscles.

High-intensity interval training is an enhanced form of interval training, an exercise strategy alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. HIIT is an efficient use of time, combining TABATA, Plyometric, Bootcamp, and Cardio Mix formats providing a heart-strengthening, fat-burning work out. With time at the end of class for ab work.
 
 

It's a party on a spin bike, complete with a music activated disco ball! Join me for a high intensity 45-minute ride to all your favorite hip hop music from the 90's to today. Improve your aerobic endurance and push your anaerobic threshold to the max through various sprinting, climbing and jogging intervals. Bring a towel and plenty of water; you're gonna need it!

Kettlebell training is characterized by tensing the entire body and forcefully compressing the breath upon exertion. The unique shape and off-set nature of the weight provides the opportunity to work curvilinear movements, centrifugal force and momentum. Muscles are recruited throughout the entire body to control acceleration and deceleration while simultaneously providing stabilization. You will develop strength, enhance cardiovascular endurance, increase flexibility, enhance balance and improve core strength all at the same time!!!

This class combines 30 minutes of punches and kicks from traditional kickboxing and 20 minutes of the total body conditioning class that focuses on the powerhouse of your body....the core! Kickboxing plus Butts and Guts = KickButt!

PIYO Strength is a hybrid, athletic workout inspired by the mind/body practices of yoga and Pilates, as well as the principles of sports stretch, strength training, conditioning and dynamic movement! It includes modifications for all levels of fitness. If you are looking to increase your strength, flexibility, and balance and reduce stress-then this class is for you!!! Please bring your Yoga Mat if you have one.

Upper body exercises, including abdominals! Ripped Up  is the perfect class to sculpt your upper body. 
 
Ask the instructor to help you select your weights if you are new to class. 

This class uses both equipment and body weight for resistance to build muscle strength and endurance. A total body workout, that will vary weekly in exercises, load, and reps to keep the body challenged and the mind fresh!

Enter the world of indoor cycling! Climb hills, go for speed and develop muscular strength and power in your legs. Improve your aerobic endurance and push & pull your anaerobic threshold through speed and/or strength intervals.
 
This class is great for beginners, but remember, you're on a bike for 45 minutes, it's normal for your seat to be sore during or after class. Give spin 3-5 classes before you judge --it may just turn out to be your favorite! 
This kickboxing-inspired workout will challenge you with a full-body interval workout that incorporates traditional kickboxing combinations done with a weighted bar, controlled weight-bearing movements and athletic drills. It will take your kickboxing routine to the next level!
TABATA is a high-intensity class of intermittent exercises. Tabata is specific interval training with maximum repetitions for 20 seconds, and resting for 10 seconds - for a total of 10 cycles, lasting 4 minutes per exercise. This class is great to break through stubborn plateaus and bring your fitness to a whole new level!

Training designed to increase cardio fitness through intervals and improve strength with super circuits. Participants will learn the many benefits of small group, interval, and treadmill training. This fun format is open to all levels, will help eliminate boredom, improve performance and challenge you!

To create the Spartacus Workout, we chose 10 exercises that collectively work every part of your body. Then we made each exercise a 60-second station so you can challenge your heart and lungs as well as your muscles. The final product is a high-intensity circuit designed to torch fat, define your chest, abs, and arms, and send your fitness level soaring. You'll sculpt a lean, athletic-looking body—and be in the best shape of your life.
