Questions about how to take virtual livestream classes at inFIT? We’re here to help.
How to Sign up
You can signup for a livestream class on the inFIT.org website or the inFIT app. You’ll see our live stream classes listed as “LIVESTREAM” on our class schedule. On the app, click “Book” then at the top of the app select the tab “livestream”, pick the class you want to attend, and then click “Book”. That’s it!
Once signed up for a live stream class, you will be emailed a link 30 minutes before class begins. If you’re booking within 30 minutes of class starting, then you’ll receive the email within a few minutes. If you don’t see the link within that window, check your junk or spam folder. The link will come from “noreply@mail.mindbodyemail.com”. Make sure this email address is added to your email contacts so that you don’t miss any emails in the future!
You can access the live stream from your phone, computer, or tablet. On a mobile device, the best experience will be found on iOS Safari or Chrome for Android. For the best experience on your desktop/laptop computer, download the free Mindbody Live desktop app.
If you have a smart TV, you can cast (screen share) the stream from your phone, tablet, or computer to your TV for an optimal audio and visual experience.
Time for class?
Just like in-studio classes, we recommend “arriving” a few minutes early to get instructions from the instructor, gather equipment, and test your audio and video
Open your email on the device you'll be using to livestream (use Google Chrome for your web browser)
Click on the link in the email, you may need to log in so have your username and password ready
Click "Start" after the livestream window opens. You will be muted when you "enter" the class. You can unmute when you chat with the instructor by clicking on the microphone icon.
Your video camera will also be turned off so the other live stream participants and instructor will not be able to see you. You can turn your camera ON by clicking the camera icon. (Our instructors LOVE being able to see you!)
Troubleshooting
Google Chrome is the recommended web browser to use for Live streaming.
If you have any issues with the video or sound quality of the class, simply refresh your browser or log out and then log back in.
If you have several people using your internet streaming services at home, it will affect your internet speed and may cause lags/interruptions in the video feed.
Add “noreply@mail.mindbodyemail.com” to your email contacts so that it doesn’t go to your spam folder.
As always, if you have any questions, please email info@infit.org, call us at 763-424-4435 or text 763-296-1106
